About Hoag Chemical Dependency Recovery Center
The Chemical Dependency Recovery Center at Hoag Hospital is one of the nation’s foremost facilities in helping chemically dependent adults and their families understand and address the disease of addiction. The treatment program at the Hoag Chemical Dependency Recovery Center is for adults 18 years and older. Drugs of abuse treated at the center include alcohol, street drugs and habit-forming prescription The center is designed to promote recovery for both the chemically dependent patient and her/his family. Patients are given the tools they need to develop a more positive self image, initiate and enjoy healthy life changes and learn to remain clean and sober. Families are an integral part of the treatment process. Both patients and families learn appropriate, healthy ways of coping with stress and changing behavior patterns during our unique Family Week program. Follow-up studies of our center demonstrate an excellent success record.
