Vascular Health Screening
To help with early diagnosis, Hoag recommends registering for a vascular screening. Vascular health screening improves assessment of cardiovascular risk, particularly in individuals who have a family history of heart disease, cholesterol disorders, high blood pressure, diabetes or who smoke.
Hoag Vascular Laboratory provides screenings to Orange County residents who are not currently under a physician’s care for carotid artery disease, aortic or peripheral vascular disease. Screenings are provided in three areas including carotid artery and intima media thickness, abdominal aorta aneurysm, peripheral artery disease, and ankle/brachial index (ABI). Each screening is $45, or $95 for all three screenings.
