Members of the media are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to speak with Hoag's medical experts on an array of healthcare topics. Medical Professionals are available from Hoag's Centers of Excellence: Hoag Cancer Center, Hoag Heart and Vascular Institute, Hoag Orthopedic Services and Hoag Women's Health Services, as well as Hoag's neurosciences program.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) became effective April 14, 2003 and mandates how healthcare providers may release information. Please review the guidelines for what the media can expect when working with the staff at Hoag Hospital.
