Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC)
The PICC is a soft, flexible intravenous (IV) line that is inserted into the arm and is guided to one of the major blood vessels leading to your heart. PICCs are used for drawing blood and for giving IV fluids, blood, medication or nutrition.
