Standing seven stories high and reaching across 320,000
square feet, the Sue and Bill Gross Women's Pavilion at
Hoag Hospital is changing the face of healthcare in
Orange County. Designed specifically for patient wellness
and family-centered care, the Women's Pavilion blends
technology, education and comfort into a completely
integrated healthcare experience.
Now serving as the main entrance to Hoag Hospital,
the Women's Pavilion houses new and existing services
including comprehensive women's health services,
ambulatory surgery and procedure services, dedicated
health and wellness resource centers, laboratory services,
patient education and patient registration. By combining
these services under one roof, the hospital's medical
procedures and processes are streamlined so that greater
attention is paid to the patient's overall healthcare needs.
The Women's Pavilion also significantly expands Hoag
Hospital's surgical capacity by adding six operating rooms
and three dedicated C-section suites and increases its
bed count to 498, making it the largest patient-oriented
hospital in Orange County.
The Sue and Bill Gross Women's Pavilion, however, is not
built on progressive medical systems, proprietary health
programs and family-centered care alone. Luxury and
comfort play a major designing role in this spectacular
new facility. From the "living room" lobby to hotel-style
check-in and registration, the Women's Pavilion is home to
more than 130 beautifully decorated private rooms, garden
cafes, spacious visitor and patient lounges, hospitality areas,
incredible ocean views and more.
Hoag Hospital is ushering in a new
era of patient and family-centered care currently unrivaled
in Southern California. And from this hospital's view,
Orange County's healthscape will never be the same.
